Getting to Harris

There are plenty of options available to travellers to the Isle of Harris and several routes you can take, the choice is yours.  You could travel by plane, from Glasgow and be here in about two hours, even less from Inverness.  If you fly into Stornoway Airport it takes approximately an hour to drive to Mol Ban, Lewis and Harris are landbridged and the journey 'down' offers some spectacular views of the island.

By Air:

Flybe operated by Loganair operate flights 4 times daily, Monday to Saturday, to Stornoway from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness.
There is a Sunday flight from Glasgow.  If you are island hopping there are also daily flights from Glasgow to Barra and Benbecula, from Monday to Saturday.

Eastern Airways operate one flight from Aberdeen Monday - Friday.Isle of Harris Ferry from Mol Ban Beach

By Ferry:

Caledonian MacBrayne operate the ferry services to the islands, but they do have a seasonal timetable so please check their website. It is advisable to book a space for your car in advance, but not necessary for passengers.

Ullapool to Stornoway (Lewis);

Berneray (North Uist) to Leverburgh Harris
